Herndon, Virginia, August 3, 2007 -AmCad was selected by the Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, Register of Deeds' Office to provide microfilm scanning and data entry services. The Milwaukee County Register of Deeds' Office records Land Records for the community of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

AmCad was selected to perform these services because of AmCad's long-term commitment to Wisconsin and Milwaukee County.“ AmCad demonstrated the knowledge and creativity required to bring a successful completion to my projects,” comments John LaFave, Register of Deeds, Milwaukee County.

AmCad successfully provided approximately 3.75 million digital images scanned from microfilm. This brought the digital images current with the Register’s existing electronic index. This project has increased the on-line sale of images and reduced traffic in the office. AmCad was able to virtually eliminate the 300,000 document data entry verification backlog. Additionally, the Milwaukee County Register of Deeds has partnered with AmCad to capture and index party names for roughly 900,000 documents.
